I walked in the door to find my wife and newborn daughter sitting on the couch in their PJs.
Not exactly the sight I was expecting after coming home from a long day at work.
“Did you guys do anything today?”
The murderous look that my wife shot my way told me I shouldn’t have said that.

Maybe if I had paid more attention in my middle school cooking class it would have helped.
